Pre-Marriage
 Course   

 

Couples wishing to marry in the Catholic Church are strongly
recommended to attend a  Pre-Marriage course; ideally before you announce your engagement or a minimum of six months prior to your wedding day.

The Pre-Marriage Education programme consists of three steps:

STEP ONE : a two hour evening with other engaged couples where you will

  • Complete the FOCCUS Questionnaire
  • Choose a date to attend Step Two
  • Register for Step Three

( A choice of dates and locations for Step Two and Three will be offered )

STEP TWO: Attend the FOCCUS Questionnaire follow up session

STEP THREE: Attend either:

  • One evening a week over six weeks course
  • Two consecutive Saturdays course
